About A Blonde

Although it’s fair to say that on occasion I’ve used my fingers to count (much to the dismay of my accountant father), I feel I am not a ‘typical blonde’. However, I’ve decided to give my blog this somewhat poetic name for two reasons.

One: I am blonde.

Two: my blogs are all about my adventures abroad.

I have travelled around the world alone and with friends (and not a pair of hair-straighteners or high heels in sight!) and want to share my stories (well the ones that can be spoken of!) with you.

I’ve survived the -10C freeze of Prague, the +45C heat wave of Marrakech (without air conditioning!), the isolated and desolate Red Centre of Australia and the bustling metropolis of Tel Aviv, in Israel. I’ve been thrown out of a plane, been diving with sharks and been lost… quite a few times (did I mention I was blonde?).

I’ve witnessed views more beautiful than I ever thought possible, and experienced a lifetime of mischief, mayhem and general revelry in places I never thought I’d be lucky enough to visit… or live in!

These are my stories… Enjoy!
